The aim of this course is for drivers to be able to administer emergency first aid compentently and be able to assess emergency situations. The course is run to HSE guidelines and certificated by St John Ambulance.
This course also covers subject area 2 of the drivers cpc and covers 7 hours of the cpc.
Driver CPC is a European Union directive that affects all professional LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) and PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) drivers.
For new drivers it introduces an initial qualification, the Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence), which increases the amount of knowledge that drivers need before they can drive.
