Practice your bus or lorry theory test online
Important:
From 2 April 2007 the theory test for lorry and bus drivers has changed and you will be asked 60 questions in 70 minutes (previously 35 questions in 40 minutes). The pass mark for the multiple choice part of the theory test is now 51 out of 60 (previously 30 out of 35).
The software for these practice tests is being rewritten and new tests to reflect the new criteria will be published as soon as possible.
In the meantime, the old tests are available if you wish to test yourself, these official online practise theory test questions cover a variety of topics relating to road safety. The tests use a mix of 35 questions drawn from the question bank to test your knowledge. This test allows you to test your understanding of the Highway Code, Know Your Traffic Signs and the Essential Skills series of books.
Please note:
Scoring a pass on this practice test does not guarantee a pass when you take the real theory test under proper exam conditions. To assist in preparation for your theory test you should study the relevant Official Theory Test books and other recommended reading compiled by DSA and printed by The Stationery Office.
