Course Description

This course is aimed at all drivers covered by tachograph legislation, this one day training course provides practical training on digital tachographs. The course will equip your drivers with the fundamentals in the practical use of the digital tachograph and provide a hands-on experience using on-screen simulator and several remote vehicle unit simulators.

The aim of this course is to inform drivers of the regulations governing them under EU Drivers hours and regulations and teaching them the basic principles of operating a digital tachograph. This covers subject area 2 of the Driver CPC and covers 7 hours of the CPC.

Driver CPC Training

Driver CPC is a European Union directive that affects all professional LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) and PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) drivers.

For new drivers it introduces an initial qualification, the Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence), which increases the amount of knowledge that drivers need before they can drive.
