SVQ in Scotland are practical work-based qualifications that are recognised by employers and training providers throughout the UK.
They are awarded to people who have proven their skill, knowledge and understanding of all aspects of their job.
These qualifications demonstrate an individual’s occupational competence in their job role.
We offer a range of SVQ for the road freight industry including driving, warehouse work and traffic office duties.
Courses can be customised to meet customers needs. Consultation and advice are available upon request.
Driver CPC is a European Union directive that affects all professional LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) and PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) drivers.
For new drivers it introduces an initial qualification, the Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence), which increases the amount of knowledge that drivers need before they can drive.
There is funding that can assist with the cost of your training and development including Skills Development Scotland (SDS) Individual Learning Accounts (ILA). Contact us for further information.
